Daly Spicer
Candidate for Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy
Emotional Regulation, Young Children, Teens, Anxiety, Family Therapy, Trauma
Daly enjoys helping children and teens make sense of big emotions, difficult experiences, and changes that can sometimes be hard to put into words. She works with young clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioral concerns, and life transitions, helping them better understand what they are feeling and find healthier ways to respond. Daly focuses on each child’s individual strengths while helping them build confidence, develop practical coping skills, and feel more capable when facing challenges.
Daly uses play, creativity, and conversation to connect with children and teens in ways that fit their age, personality, and developmental needs. Through play-based approaches and talk therapy, she helps young clients strengthen emotional awareness, practice new ways of coping, and communicate their needs more effectively. She also values working alongside parents and caregivers, helping them better understand their child’s experiences and find ways to support progress outside of the therapy room.
Daly has experience working with children navigating developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and significant life changes. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisville and is currently completing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Play Therapy at Lipscomb University.
